Do we need more tags and sub-tags on our forum? ?

Howdy friends! Just want to ask you something about our forum.

As you know, our forum is divided into so-called tags (aka forum topics). There are 11 tags in total and some of them have sub-tags to help us further refine the topic.

I was wondering if we need to add more tags or subtags? Perhaps you've noticed that something is missing and you'd like to suggest something?

Personally, I think we could add more sub-tags in the Jobs section. For example, we could add language pairs or fields or specialization as sub-tags to help us further refine who the particular job-posting is for.

What do you guys think?

I agree with you, @Dmitry. Some ideas:
- A Rates sub-tag for the Money Talk tag, as there are already many topics in which rate adequacy is discussed and these are not related to either Payment methods or Late payments (the other two sub-tags in Money Talk).
- Sub-tags for language combinations for the Jobs tag: would it be a bad thing to add sub-tags with language combinations or single languages? Could it be confusing?
- A TV/Cinema sub-tag for the Off-topic tag, since we like discussing tv shows so much ?

Our forum now has a neat little thingy called RSS feed. The cool thing is is that each tag has its own RSS. That means that a new thread is created with specific tags their RSS is updated.

Having sub tags for language pairs could be an awesome idea ? because then people would be able to follow the RSS feed of that language pair sub tag and even setup email notifications so they would never miss another interesting job on our forum.

eleonorang it sure is! I only need to organize it a bit and figure out a proper structure that would work for everyone.

I also need to teach people how to use RSS because it’s awesome!
