What music do you listen to while translating?

Hey friends! I'm just curious if any of our community members listen to any specific music while translating?

I know some people prefer to be in a vacuum so they could concentrate, while others need some musical stimuli to kickstart their creativity.

Like I've mentioned before I really need to have a an absolute vacuum when I'm translating because most of the time my translations are of a very creative nature and I really need to think long and hard and music had proven to be a distraction.

However, I do occasionally listen to something light and uplifting when I'm not working on something super difficult.

I can't believe I didn't think of creating a thread about music before!
I love listening to music and I'm constantly looking for new playlist and genres to listen to while translating ?
Lately, I've been using mindfulness tracks (with ambient and nature sounds, but also basic instrumental music), classical music (mostly violin and piano) and also indie songs.

M83 is a great band! I also love Outro! Check it out if you haven't heard it before. Very powerful and uplifting!

I bliss out to Hearts of Space. If you haven't heard of it, it's a weekly radio program that has been on air since the 1970's. It covers mostly ambient and electronic music, what the host calls "space music." The website has over 30 years of programs available, https://www.hos.com/. The only drawbacks are that you have to pay to play and the site uses flash, which is finicky.

This is instrumental music that I find it really nice to work to--and I also love listening to it actively. IMO it's super good music :-)
