Translation conferences in 2018

Hey guys, any conferences about #t9n and #l10n you're looking forward to? I recently saw a post where @vertaaltnu conveniently gathered the main translation events scheduled for 2018:

Surely the list could be integrated as more and more conferences are scheduled or discovered. We could do that in this thread and even arrange meetings!
I, for one, would like to go back to Vienna and take part at the B+P Conference while I'm at it.
Is there any other conference you're planning on going to?

The Translation and Localization Conference, 23-24 March in Warsaw for sure ? haven't decided on the other ones yet.

I would like to submit a paper before I attend any conference and I am working on a paper now about SDH.

PaulWilliamDixon I didn't find any official info on the ABRATES Conference so far. It's not even on their website. Maybe that's why.

Hey @PaulWilliamDixon, I don't think there's any particular reason. As you will see there are so many conferences it would be quite a task to gather them all (up for that challenge? ? ). I think the author of that post wanted to show the highlights for 2018 which potentially have more resonance.

_marocca Well, I'll tell you already. The IX Brazilian ABRATES Conference will be from 15 to 17 June 2018 in Rio de Janeiro. I hope you can come over to Rio for this event! O Brasil te espera de braços abertos!

Hope to see everyone at the ABRATES Conference in Rio! I have been to the last three conferences and they have been great, with famous international speakers. You can also soak up the sun at the famous Copacabana beach.
