New Year's Resolutions for your business?

Hey friends! 2017 is almost here and it means that many of us will be making New Year's resolutions ? Since we talk about business in this channel, what resolutions will you make for 2017? Starting a blog? Doubling down on marketing and networking? Reaching out to more clients? Feel free to share your resolutions in this forum thread ?

I will be working on my outbound marketing strategy because for the past few years I've been coasting on my existing clients and it was great, but I think I need to be more active and acquire new clients. My website was quite instrumental for acquiring new leads and even brought new clients, but I think outbound marketing is still useful and can definitely help me bring more clients into my business and increase revenue.

Last year I planned to do a certain max. amount of words per year - which promise to myself I broke each single day. For 2017 I plan to do differently, but I know it's hard. I also planned a couple of blogs and courses which didn't make it yet, but I feel relieve that I didn't do all things I wanted to do as I still feel happy because I did the most important things. The rest can wait another year.

@vertaaltnu Hey Pieter! Thank you so much for sharing! Can I ask why did you decided to focus on the volume of your work rather than number of clients? Wouldn't it be better to set up a goal of bringing more clients to your business rather than translating more work? ?
