KarenMontaldi how/when do you realize that you are stretching yourself thin by doing too many things?
Fun fact: if you look up the meaning of "stretch oneself too thin" you'll see my picture in there!
Just kidding, but I know the feeling. I guess when you start putting things off and telling yourself: "Oh, I'll deal with this tomorrow/on a weekend/next month" - that means your's stretching yourself too thin.
The only thing that helps in this case is honesty. You have to be honest with yourself and everyone around you and acknowledge that you need to stop doing something or take a break from things. Otherwise stuff will keep piling up giving you nightmares.
As far as keeping yourself accountable I figured that the most efficient way to do this is to have systems for everything. You need to do stuff systematically, following the same routine/procedure. This helps you to stay on top of things without feeling overwhelmed/overworked.
