As goes the sentence for gamers, "real life comes first". You have a human being to raise, and that's more important, no question there! And belated happy birthday to him!
My absence was for sadder reasons, my mother was very ill for a long time, then she died almost a year ago now, and I've been learning how to be a grown-up without a backup plan. It's not fun at all, but it's not like there's a choice other than carrying on.
Anyway, let me know if there's anything I can do to help luring people back here. I was meant to post on this forum once a week, but I can also pester... oh, wait, pester is not a kind thing to do.
